Welcome to Gray Box Theater. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of graybox.theater and your attendance at events, purchases, donations, and rental transactions with Gray Box Theater ("Gray Box," "we," "us," or "our"), a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, presented by CAN Community Health and located in Wilton Manors, Florida.
By accessing our website or purchasing tickets, making donations, or submitting forms through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Use of the Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site, interfere with any other party's use, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, or data. Content submitted through our forms must be accurate and must not be unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or misleading.
2. Tickets and Events
Ticket sales for Gray Box Theater events are processed through a third-party ticketing provider. Your purchase is also subject to that provider's terms and policies.
All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated for a specific event. If an event is canceled or rescheduled, refund or exchange options will be communicated to ticket holders.
Gray Box Theater reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of venue policies, without refund.
By attending an event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed or recorded as part of general audience footage, which may be used for promotional purposes.
3. Donations
Gray Box Theater is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by federal law. Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us promptly and we will review the request in good faith. A copy of the organization's IRS determination letter and most recent Form 990 may be obtained upon request or through the Internal Revenue Service at apps.irs.gov/app/eos.
A copy of the official registration and financial information for this organization may be obtained from the Florida Division of Consumer Services by calling toll-free (800) 435-7352 within the state or by visiting fdacs.gov. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the State of Florida.
4. Venue Rentals
Venue rentals are governed by a separate written rental agreement between Gray Box Theater and the renting party. Submitting a rental inquiry form does not constitute a booking. Key policies include:
Holds. Temporary holds on dates may be placed at no cost. If another party requests the same date, the original hold holder receives a 72-hour right of first refusal to confirm with a signed agreement and required deposit.
Confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when a fully executed rental agreement has been signed by all parties and all required deposits have been received in full.
Announcements. No event may be publicly announced, including on social media, websites, press releases, or newsletters, until the agreement is fully executed and deposits are paid. Violations may result in delay or cancellation of the event and loss of future booking privileges.
Programming. Gray Box Theater reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to decline or revoke permission for any event that is inconsistent with its values, including content that is discriminatory, defamatory, excessively violent, or otherwise inappropriate for a community-oriented venue.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed rental agreement, the rental agreement controls for that rental.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, logos, images, video, and design elements, is the property of Gray Box Theater or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website links to and integrates with third-party services, including ticketing platforms, payment processors, ride-share discount programs, social media, and government resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of third-party services. Your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
